Game Modes

Rules and settings reference for every game mode available on Autodarts: two competitive modes, seven Practice modes, and four Party modes. Selecting any of them goes through the same lobby flow — choose a scoring method, pick your board, and start.

  • X01 — race from a set score down to exactly zero.
  • Cricket/Tactics — hit and close specific numbers while stopping opponents from scoring.
  • Practice — seven solo skill-building modes: Count Up, Around The Clock, Random Checkout, Round the World, Segment Training, Bob's 27, and 121.
  • Party — four casual, multiplayer-focused modes: Shanghai, Gotcha, Bermuda, and Killer.

X01 and Cricket/Tactics are the only modes with a built-in Bot opponent — a computer-controlled player you can practice against. Every other Practice and Party mode can be played solo, or with other players (a local guest on the same board, or another player online).

There are three exceptions. Bob's 27 can only be played solo, with its Add Player and Add Bot controls both disabled. Gotcha and Killer can't be played solo at all — both need at least two players total, and Killer in particular works best with three or more.
