Party Modes

Alongside the competitive modes (X01, Cricket/Tactics) and the Practice modes, the game-mode picker has a Party section — casual, multiplayer-focused modes. Selecting any of these still goes through the same lobby flow — choose a scoring method (how your throws get counted), pick your board, and start.

See Practice Modes for the full mode picker screenshot showing all three sections.

No Bot opponent

Like the Practice modes, none of the Party modes support playing against the built-in Bot (a computer-controlled opponent). Shanghai and Bermuda can still be played solo or with other players — a local guest on the same board, or another player online. Gotcha and Killer are the odd ones out: neither can be played solo at all — both need at least two players total, and Killer in particular works best with three or more.

The modes

  • Shanghai — score big by hitting a single, double, and triple of the same number in one round.
  • Gotcha — match an opponent's score to reset it.
  • Bermuda — hit the target for each round or risk losing your score.
  • Killer — eliminate opponents by hitting their assigned number.
