Bob's 27
Hit doubles to add to your score, miss and lose points.
How to play: Start with 27 points. Each round, the target is a specific double — the thin outer ring around a number, worth twice its value — starting with double 1 in round 1, double 2 in round 2, and so on. Hit it and your score goes up by double that number's value. Miss completely and your score goes down by the same amount instead. Drop to zero or below and you are eliminated.

| Setting | Options | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mode | Normal / Allow Negative Score | Whether a player is eliminated once their score would drop to or below zero, or can continue playing at a negative score. |
| Order | 1-20-Bull / 1-20 | The sequence of target doubles — through the bullseye at the end, or stopping at double 20. |
Unlike every other Practice mode, Bob's 27 can't be played with anyone else — not a local guest, not another player online. The Add Player button still appears in the lobby like it does for every other mode, but opening it shows every Add / Invite option grayed out and unusable. Add Bot is disabled outright too, same as the rest of the Practice modes (Bob's 27 has no Bot opponent either).

Personal data redactedThis isn't a generic name — Bob's 27 is named after Bob Anderson, a former World Masters champion and one of the longest-serving professionals in darts. He devised the routine as a way to drill doubles, the exact skill an X01 checkout depends on, by forcing a player through every double on the board in sequence instead of practicing them at random.
